Rapid Deployment: A Time-Saving Savior for IT Managers

• Deploying a fleet of new printers: If you're deploying a fleet of new printers, the Rapid Deployment feature can save you hours or even days of setup time. Simply clone the settings from the master printer and use the Rapid Deployment feature to configure the other printer(s).
• Replacing a failed printer: If a printer fails, the Rapid Deployment feature can help you get back up and running quickly. Keep a copy of the configuration close by the production printer. If it fails, simply assign that clone to the replacement printer.

To use the TSC Rapid Deployment feature, simply follow these steps:

1. Plug in a USB stick into the master printer.
2. On the master printer, navigate to the Rapid Deployment menu.
3. Select the "Clone" option.
4. Plug the USB stick into the slave or replacement printer.
5. On the replacement printer, navigate to the Rapid Deployment menu.
6. Select the "Restore" option.
7. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the cloning process.

Once the cloning process is complete, the new printer will be configured with the same settings as the old printer. You can then begin using the new printer immediately.
