Custom pot stakes are the ideal solution for easy plant identification. Designed for long-term greenhouse/field use, our horticulture tags are durable and cold tolerant to 10°F. They are widely used by growers needing 12 or more months of identification.

Our custom pot stakes are available in 12, 20 and 22 mil thicknesses. We offer 7 different colors in a wide variety of sizes. Made of a premium, rigid material, our pot stakes are easy to print, utilizing the TX300, MH261T, TTP-247 & T800. They can also be preprinted to include full color graphics for product marketing or customer education.

RFID Pot Stakes

With RFID pot stakes, growers can easily track, count and manage inventory. We offer 4.5”-6” wide, RFID pot stakes, available in rolls of 1,000 with a 3” core. These tags feature an RFID inlay at the top of the stake. They can be printed and encoded using the T4000 (4” RFID stakes) & T6000e (4 & 6” RFID stakes).

Wrap Around Tags

Our custom wrap around tags are designed to easily attach directly to a stem or branch without the need for strings or ties. These tags are the perfect solution to identify plants, shrubs and trees. Our custom wrap around tags are available with or without RFID inlays.

Print and Encode Horticulture Labels

RFID pot stakes, wrap-tags and other tag types used in the horticulture industry can be relatively thick and stiff, with unforgiving edges. This can make them difficult to print and encode with traditional RFID-enabled printers.

TSC Printronix Auto ID developed the T6000e and T4000 series enterprise-grade RFID printers to work right out of the box with tag constructions like these. These printers are able to print and encode RFID standard labels, plant tags and even on-metal tags, offering a robust, in-house printing solution to leverage RFID technology. The T6000e also comes in a 6-inch model, which can handle pot stakes and tags up to 6.8 inches in width.
